The Central Campus Horticulture program is hosting our annual Plant Sale from April 21 – May 20, 2023. The Horticulture classes have been working hard all school year preparing annuals, perennials, house plants, vegetables, hanging baskets, and more. Open Tuesdays-Fridays 10am-5pm and Saturdays 9am-5pm. Closed Sundays and Mondays.

Come celebrate the connection between plants and water with the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden on Earth Day sponsored by Renewable Energy Group! Enjoy free admission to the Botanical Garden on Saturday, April 22 to participate in family-friendly activities, and engage with community partners who will be on-site from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Botanical Garden is unveiling a new mural at 11 a.m. in the garden commons as part of the Earth Day festivities!

Calling ALL kiddos - we're rolling up our sleeves and making one heck of a mess in our NEW and improved Cupcake Decorating Classes! Each class includes a beverage, a chef's hat to decorate, a "Molly's Cupcakes" patch and a tutorial on filling, frosting and decorating four cupcakes. General age requirement is 6-14-years-old. Adult supervision is required for individuals younger than 6-years-old.
