Egg Palooza

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Take your time and play in the farm playland, pet farm animals, enjoy a pony ride, and take pictures with the Easter Bunny (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Eggs will be hidden all day long (rain or shine), and you don’t need to bring a basket. They will supply an egg carton, and when you fill it up you can return it to the barn to receive a prize. Admission for activities for the day is $10 per child. Admission includes an egg hunt and an unlimited playground. Adults are $8. All tickets must be purchased online.

Easter Egg Hunt

Join Highland Park/Oak Park Neighborhood Association for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Arrival is at 8:30 am. Hunt starts at 9 a.m. Visit the Easter Bunny, hunt for eggs, and have fun.  All ages are invited!

Easterseals Easter Egg Hunt

Egg hunt, duck pond, bean bag toss, sack races, and more. 

The GREAT Egg Hunt
Walker-Johnston Park, Urbandale

How many eggs can you collect? Walker Johnston Regional Park will be filled with eggs and treats! This event is for kids ages 10 and under. Don’t be late for the 10 a.m. send-off, most of the eggs are picked up in less than five minutes!


Ted’s Easter Egg Hunt 
Ted Lare Design Build & Garden Center, Cumming

Two egg-ceptional hunts await – one for kids ages 8 and above, and a special area for the little ones, ensuring every kiddo has a crack at the fun. Over 8,000 eggs, brimming with prizes and candy, are waiting to be discovered!

Creekside Easter Egg Hunt

Seek and you will find at this annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Family Easter
Living History Farms, Urbandale
March 30
9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Plan a full morning of family fun at Living History Farms. There will be ongoing egg and toy hunts (divided by age) throughout the morning. You can also enjoy strolling through the 1876 town, taking a horse-drawn wagon ride, meeting the Easter bunny, and much more. Tickets are $8/person for non-members and $7/person for members. This event goes on rain or shine!

Easter Egg Hunt
Centennial Park, Waukee

10 a.m.
Fill your baskets full of candy at Waukee’s annual Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Waukee Parks & Recreation Department. Keep an eye out for special golden prize eggs. The hunt is divided into three groups by age (up to age 10).

Mulberry Street Tavern
When: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., March 30 and 31
What: Indulge in a classic Mulberry Street Tavern Brunch. On Easter there will be a pop-up photo booth, perfect for a family photo. Reservations are recommended.

Enjoy an easter egg hunt for both the kiddos and the adults! Face painting and balloon animals for the little ones will require a ticket.

Aj’s Steakhouse
When: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., March 31
What: Special Easter brunch with a basket of fresh bakeries. You can also enjoy a special Easter all day dining menu from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. 

Easter Brunch Bingo at Smash Park
When: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., March 31
What: Enjoy a family brunch with prizes and bingo. 

Hoq
When: 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., March 31
What: Special menu including baked goods, filet mignon, grass-fed lamb bacon mac and cheese, Hoq organic omelet, and more. Reservations are highly recommended. 

Opa! Italian and Greek
When: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., March 31
What: Enjoy an Easter buffet of fried shrimp, salmon OPA!, creamy chicken meatballs, pizza, bbq beef, pasta alfredo, dessert, and more for $24.99. Reservations are recommended. 

Destination Grille
When: March 31
What: Destination Grille is offering the Grand Brunch for Easter with a full menu lineup including a carving station, omelet station, breakfast pizza, crème brûlée French toast, and much more. It is $42 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Reservations are required. Parties larger than six must call the restaurant, others may reserve their spot here

Felix and Oscar’s
When: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., March 31
​What: Get all your favorite brunch items at Felix and Oscar’s Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet. It is $21 for adults, $11 for kids ages 4 – 12, and free for kids 3 and under. Reservations are encouraged.

Gilroy's
When: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., March 31
​What: Enjoy an all you can eat brunch experience at Gilroy's on Easter Sunday. They will be serving many of their regular weekend brunch items like smoked ham, loaded crispy red potatoes and corn flake french toast, as well as some elevated offerings such as tri-tip steak with a cabernet mushroom cream sauce, shrimp alfredo gemelli, pineapple upside down cake and fresh strawberries. Reservations highly recommended!
